We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Supervisor - Project Manager to join our team at HL Services (London) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to completion, ensuring that all works are completed on time, budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Assist projects from pre-start through to completion, including defects period and retention release.
- Programme of Works: Assist in the production of programme of works for projects, including master programmes through to individual work task items.
- Site Management: Advise and guide site managers, subcontractors, designers, and operatives with work on projects.
- Material Preparation: Assist with material procurement in line with programmes and gather and prepare materials required for the installation.
- Fencing: Install various types of fences, including timber, railings, chain-link, and hoarding, depending on the project specifications.
- Hard Landscape: Install various types of paving, blockwork, and path installation according to design and specification.
- Soft Landscape: Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation according to landscape designs and specifications.
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and pruning trees.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain equipment in line with manufacturers' guidelines and appropriate training.
- Safety and Compliance: Highlight any potential problems and propose solutions to the project team and design team.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered during the installation or repair process.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes.
- Physical Fitness: Possess good physical fitness, manual dexterity, and the ability to work outdoors in different conditions.
- Communication Skills: Have good communication skills and be able to negotiate with clients and all staff from site workers to directors.
- Adaptability: Be adaptable to various weather conditions and work environments.
- Training: Engage in all learning opportunities available and encourage lesser-experienced staff to do the same.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with clients, property owners, or the public in a professional and courteous manner.
