Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at Boden Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial work of FM contracts, with a focus on maximizing returns and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement commercial processes and procedures to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
  2. Analyze payment mechanisms and identify opportunities for risk mitigation, ensuring that KPI metrics are met and exposure is minimized.
  3. Work closely with contract management teams to identify opportunities for further work and develop strategies to capture additional revenue.
  4. Meet with clients to discuss commercial matters and negotiate contracts.
  5. Administer and advise on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions, dealing with variations and managing disputes as they arise.
  6. Support the contract management team in negotiating subcontractor appointments and agreeing standard terms.
  7. Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure systems and processes meet contractual obligations and capture all billable events.
  8. Monitor payments and intervene when necessary to ensure processing protocols are followed.
  9. Review use of systems and identify improvements to meet contractual and financial requirements.
  10. Support the preparation of lifecycle plans with the contract management team.
  11. Provide input to annual budgets and forecasts for the finance business partner and contract management team.
  12. Manage the monthly Profit reporting/cost value reconciliation production for c15 contracts.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the Facilities Management industry.
  2. Strong understanding of PPM, cleaning standards, catering methodologies, and lifecycle planning.
  3. Degree or professional qualification preferred.
