Job Title: Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding to join our team at Stoke on Trent College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum and assessment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and tutorials to students on fabrication and welding techniques and principles
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments to meet the needs of our students
  • Contribute to the development of our assessment strategies and quality assurance processes
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of our department

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in fabrication and welding, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the development of our curriculum and assessment strategies.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £29,470 - £39,717 per annum pro rata, with an actual salary of £7,367 - £9,929 per annum. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and access to our total reward benefits package.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time role, with 9.25 hours per week. You will be required to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
