About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live a full and independent life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Work flexibly and creatively with individuals and their families.
  • Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
