Job Title: Bank Housekeeper

Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Edinburgh is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join their team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, adhering to the housekeeping and infection control policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Complete cleaning schedules and ensure rooms are ready for occupation
  • Work closely with the Senior Housekeeper and report any concerns regarding housekeeping issues
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand the special needs of the hospital
  • Perform daily maintenance of equipment and report any faults or shortages
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions for moving and handling, infection control, and food hygiene
Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks
  • Positive and flexible approach to customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training
