We are seeking individuals who possess excellent inspection skills, able to assess lifting equipment and ensure it is fit for use. Experience in using chain blocks and fleeting techniques is essential. Proficiency in general lifting equipment and tools, such as fixed gantry cranes, spreader bars, plate clamps, and chain blocks, is also required.

In addition, candidates must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret lifting instructions and have a proven track record of completing work to time, cost, and quality parameters. Ideally, applicants should have experience working in the marine industry, particularly with Royal Navy ships and submarines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels, or large commercial ships.

While a background in these areas is preferred, we welcome relevant experience from other industries. If you possess the necessary skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
