About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Superdrug. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in leading our store teams to achieve sales and service targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate store teams to achieve sales and service targets
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and explore opportunities to grow sales, ensure optimum stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control
  • Develop and implement effective sales and customer service strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives and promotions

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience with roles such as Assistant Management or similar
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Designate Role

In this role, you will support us by being willing to travel to a variety of stores locally around your base location based on demand. This will provide you with exposure and day-to-day variety, and you won't travel forever. We want these roles to help support future hiring needs and soon you will be ready to jump into a specific store and progress within the business.
