Job Title: Senior Motor Trade Professional

At Drayton Motors, we are seeking an experienced Senior Motor Trade Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring all inbound leads are handled effectively and managed in line with expected conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all inbound leads are handled effectively and managed in line with expected conversion rates.

• Understand and ensure provision of up-to-date information on finance and insurance products to Customers, ensuring this is in line with their identified needs and the range of products currently available.

• Coach Sales Executives to develop their performance level and quality of referral techniques, enabling the suitable provision of finance, insurance and any other incremental sales.

• Provide daily key prospecting data for the sales team to ensure ongoing outbound activity target is achieved for both the site and individuals.

• Ensure Service Diary is monitored for opportunities on a daily basis.

• Produce up-to-date achievement reports and related statistics, enabling realistic finance targets and budgets to be established and monitored at a senior level. Reach monthly targets in line with the current business plan.

• Continually develop knowledge relating to market trends and competitive finance rates/product through training and other related methods.

• Comply with all FCA requirements and operate within legislative guidelines at all times.

• Follow defined processes and procedures for the sale of finance products, ensuring compliance with all current legislation and company parameters.

• Perform 'Duty Manager' responsibilities as designated by the General Manager.

• Maintain quality standards of dress, attitude, Customer care, honesty and health and safety in order to portray a professional image to Customers at all times.

Requirements:

• Can motivate a team to achieve goals.

• Has high standards in following process and exceeding customer expectations.

• Lead by example and have proven experience of achieving and exceeding set sales targets, consistently hitting individual and team targets.

• Are an excellent communicator, ensuring they understand customers' requirements to fully maximise each possible sale.

• Are driven to hit their targets month after month, and a natural people person who is passionate about customer service.

• Will ensure no opportunity to do business is missed.

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

• Has good experience in dealing with New Cars as well as Used vehicles.

• Up-to-date knowledge and experience in delivering a FCA compliant process.

• Used to following a robust sales process and can enforce high standards across a team.

• An ability to build good customer relationships and negotiate profitable transactions.

• An ability to mentor and develop others whilst being regarded as a member of a team.

• Understanding of the legal, tax and fiscal implications of Finance and Insurance.

• Smart and presentable personal appearance, with excellent communication and IT skills
