Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aviation Technician to join our team at Standard Aero. As an Aviation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections of individual parts, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Perform disassembly, assembly, and testing of engines, as well as balance rotating components and prepare engines for dispatch.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement effective processes and practices, ensuring flight and product efficiency.
  • Adhere to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Requirements
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship and relevant certification.
  • Engineering background and relevant certification.
  • Strong verbal communication and written skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keen eye for detail, with the ability to use computers and computer systems.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage own workload.
  • Good team work and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work proactively and as a team player.
