We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Hepatology Nurse Service team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to our healthcare professionals, including typing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of the service, including scheduling clinics, arranging meetings, and managing diaries.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documents.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education (3 GCSEs or equivalent)
  • NVQ3/RSA III typing or equivalent demonstrable experience of typing
  • Experience of working in an administrative or office environment
  • Knowledge of medical/healthcare terminology

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • ECDL
  • Previous experience of providing secretarial support
  • Experience of use and maintenance of healthcare records

Language Skills

  • Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
