Role Summary

The role of a Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist at The Boundary is to create high-quality, photorealistic digital marketing content showcasing proposed buildings, landscapes, interiors, or products for client projects. Our primary clients are architects and real estate developers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce visually appealing visualisations from client-supplied materials.
  • Collaborate with other artists to produce and refine content.
  • Establish lighting set-ups and compositions.
  • Provide insight and design expertise when needed.
  • Achieve photorealistic magazine-quality results with rendering engines.
  • Own and lead projects.
  • Lead on one project and work on multiple others.
  • Engage in correspondence with clients/design teams.
  • Work with Project Managers to assist on resourcing projects.
  • Incorporate and adapt content based on feedback.
  • Additional asset creation (furniture, props, etc.).
  • Own personal Learning & Development and record this.
  • Prepare learning material for Friday showcase sessions.
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback to other artists.
  • Contribute to and manage a library of assets.
  • Develop new techniques and introduce new tools.
  • Mentor more junior artists as required.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with architectural drawings.
  • Experience designing visual content or graphic design layouts.
  • Texture/Shader knowledge.
  • An understanding of animation, animation rigs, and anatomy.
  • Experience of working in a studio environment.
  • A general understanding of cameras.
  • A basic knowledge of the Architecture industry.
  • A positive team player.
  • 3dsmax experience is desirable/essential.
  • Extensive Corona knowledge/Familiarity with Corona.

You will have skills, experience, and knowledge in the following:

  • Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
  • Google suite.
  • Desirable to have familiarity with Creative Cloud software.
  • Ideally a background in architectural visualisation, real estate, interior design, or marketing.
