Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at First Achieve Ltd. in the Stirlingshire region.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Machinist to work with a dedicated Pump manufacturer, committed to delivering high-quality products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines to achieve high-quality outputs.
  • Carry out various manufacturing disciplines with flexibility and integrity, working efficiently to meet targets.
  • Ensure pre-safety checks are completed, and equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, promoting a high level of housekeeping and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience with manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines.
What We Offer:
  • A straight-to-perm role with a competitive pay rate of £17-18/hr.
  • A 37.5hr work week with 4.5 working days, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 1pm.
  • OT at 1.5x and an 8% employer pension contribution.
  • A rota day scheme and 12 additional days annual leave.
