Job Title: 7.5t Driver Multi Drop

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5t driver to join our team at Kenect Recruitment. As a 7.5t driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 7.5t lorry safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and highway code.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the Transport Manager.
  • Deliver and collect goods to and from our internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections using the company smartphone.
  • Loading and unloading vans when required, ensuring e-codes are correct and product quality is in line with company standards.
  • Collect any money due on delivery or collection as instructed.
  • Embrace sales campaigns and generate leads for the sales team.
  • Maintain product knowledge to demonstrate to customers where necessary.
  • Assist with Click & Collect, ensuring every customer receives an efficient hire experience.
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues, working closely with peers to ensure the best level of service is provided.
  • Ensure compliance with all systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Represent the company and values of the business, portraying a professional image to all customers, potential customers, and other people you meet.
Requirements:
  • Experience of driving 7.5t lorries is required.
  • Current C1 Licence required.
  • Current Digi Tacho card required.
  • Driver CPC card required.
