Job Overview
Apart from being a supportive and caring individual, we are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team. As a primary school learning support professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting children who require additional help. Your main duties will include working with these students in the classroom and through targeted interventions, both inside and outside the classroom.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to work as part of our supportive team. The position involves providing social support, including break and lunchtime duties across the school. You will be required to support children with specific special educational needs (SEN), such as cognitive and learning difficulties, physical needs, communication needs, and more.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to adapt to different situations and provide support when needed. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting children with SEN in the classroom and during targeted interventions.
  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement effective plans to support student progress.
  • Providing emotional and social support to children, including break and lunchtime duties.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum qualification of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English. Prior experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
