An exciting opportunity has arisen for an entry-level Finance Administrator to join our team at Page Personnel Finance in Liverpool. The role involves coordinating with the wider finance function on a daily basis and delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, communicating with clients via email, letter, text, and phone to ensure prompt payments, reconciling statements, negotiating repayment plans, and setting up direct debits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve any issues or concerns, providing excellent customer service.
  • Reconcile statements, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action to ensure accuracy.
  • Negotiate repayment plans with clients, working closely with the finance manager to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Set up direct debits, manage aged debtor reports, and reconcile data reports to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Take the lead in identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures, working closely with the finance manager to implement changes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in dealing with overdue debt and invoicing.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
