Job Title: Lead Asset Management Engineer

Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio.

We deliver multi-disciplinary services and consult, design, build, manage and maintain on behalf of the council and the communities and people it represents. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Asset Management Engineer to join our Mechanical and Electrical/Design Team. The successful candidate will lead and manage project coordination and delivery, creating comprehensive designs, detailed drawings, and intricate schematics, utilizing a suite of current software tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects effectively to ensure that the coordination of technical elements is achieved to meet project targets.
  • Provide full line management responsibilities for the Mechanical team supporting the growth and development of our junior, intermediate and senior engineers.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal and technical regulations, codes of practice or guidelines.
  • Ensure that the designs are delivered within the planned programme for projects and that the designs are within budget.
  • Provide exceptional proficiency in mechanical building services design, and a deep comprehension of technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Exhibit a strong commercial acumen and exercise financial oversight, monitoring project expenditure against established targets.
  • Lead the Mechanical Team, provide guidance and act as a mentor to the team.
  • Provide professional and technical expertise and advice to all internal and external customers as required, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable evidence of successful project management of complex multi-disciplinary projects including budgets and final accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in financial oversight, monitoring project expenditure against established targets.
  • A range of experience in designing, specifying, site surveying and project management of multiple building projects.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of RIBA stages of work and in-depth knowledge of building regulations.
  • Exceptional proficiency in mechanical building services design, and a deep comprehension of technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of CDM pertaining to the design function of projects.
