Project Manager - Commercial Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer in South Yorkshire, in a key role that will drive business growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience of managing large project portfolios and handling multi-million-pound contracts for demanding clients. They will also possess strong commercial skills and a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from cradle to grave, ensuring compliance with quality systems and standards, and adopting and using project management tools to communicate project plans and progress effectively across the organisation and to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project teams and activities to ensure compliance with quality systems and standards.
  2. Manage multiple projects from initiation to closure.
  3. Responsible for cost, quality, design, production, and delivery.
  4. Ensure effective communication of project plans and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Sound knowledge and understanding of project management techniques (PRINCE 2 advantageous).
  2. Experience of hands-on project management.
