Senior Health and Safety Manager

Reed HR is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to support our client in Epsom, Surrey. The role will involve ensuring health and safety objectives are met, including setting the organisational strategy for health and safety.
The successful candidate will be the lead and designated "competent person" for all health and safety matters. They will be responsible for providing strategic support to the leadership team on health and safety matters, leading and developing the integrated health and safety management system, and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and organisational policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
- Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations for mitigating risks
- Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety matters
- Monitoring and reporting on health and safety performance
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in a similar role. They will be NEBOSH qualified and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
