Key Responsibilities- Provide and support nursing care to the ward, acting as a named nurse for a defined group of patients.
- Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care that takes account of patient needs, choices, and wishes.
- Accurately communicate with, observe, and engage with Service Users to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Promote and adhere to the DBT model.
- Participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance.
- Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to Service Users and their families.
- Act as the Nurse in charge of the Ward, ensuring a safe environment.
- Maintain good clinical records and team communication.
- Support and contribute to MDT practice.
- Adhere to codes of practice and national guidelines.
- A relevant qualification is required: Registered Nurse | Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to service improvement and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, IT literate.
