Job Summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will work in an inpatient mental health services setting, providing care to young people and adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and support nursing care to the ward, acting as a named nurse for a defined group of patients.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care that takes account of patient needs, choices, and wishes.
  • Accurately communicate with, observe, and engage with Service Users to assess need and evaluate progress.
  • Promote and adhere to the DBT model.
  • Participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance.
  • Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to Service Users and their families.
  • Act as the Nurse in charge of the Ward, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Maintain good clinical records and team communication.
  • Support and contribute to MDT practice.
  • Adhere to codes of practice and national guidelines.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification is required: Registered Nurse | Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to service improvement and quality.
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, IT literate.
