Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance operations and tasks to ensure the efficient running of our factory.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering problems, with the ability to fault-find and read engineering drawings. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overhaul and repair of plant during production and out of production.
- Carry out all work in a safe, hygienic, and professional manner.
- Continually monitor areas of the factory, liaising with manufacturing staff to meet changes as required.
- Effective planned maintenance inspections using the CMMS.
- Offer support and guidance to engineers and operators.
- Assist with parts of the ongoing project work.
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance on all factory and plant-based equipment.
- Liaise with internal and external contractors and visitors.
You will be working on an alternating shift pattern between days and nights, with the opportunity to work on a permanent day shift.
