Job Description

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing commercial and financial support to the company's construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate new project inquiries and manage ongoing costs of live projects.
  • Produce and send inquiries to subcontractors and engage with the supply chain.
  • Monitor and control income and expenditure on contracts.
  • Attend and contribute to financial and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide advice and support to site teams and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in refurbishment and extension projects in the Education sector.
  • HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying and CSCS card.
  • Ability to work independently and progress career.
