About: Reed Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a client to find a Senior Legal Counsel to join them on a 6-month FTC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and support across various areas, including UK company law, employment law, contract law, charity law, anti-fraud, terrorism, and bribery laws.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory and compliance requirements and processes in the UK and internationally.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level with a legal background in the UK, ideally as a solicitor with PQE commensurate to the role.
- Previous experience in a legal and compliance environment with knowledge and experience in two or more of the following areas: UK company law, employment law, contract law, charity law, anti-fraud, terrorism, and bribery laws.
- Demonstrable experience liaising with regulatory authorities and advising on and managing regulatory and compliance requirements and processes in the UK and internationally.
- Computer literate and competent with the MS Office package.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic or Urdu is desirable.
