Academy Site Manager

Job Summary:

Ambitek Limited, a leading contractor specializing in social housing and sustainable practices, is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee HVAC and renewable energy installations in social housing projects within the Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Site Supervision: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  2. Project Planning: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  3. Team Management: Lead and coordinate the site team, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updates.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and environmental policies, particularly those related to renewable technologies.
  7. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and project documentation.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on HVAC and renewable energy projects.
  3. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH) are preferred.
  4. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, renewable energy technologies, and eco-friendly building practices.
  5. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inform various stakeholders.
  7. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
