Vehicle Mechanic Programme Leader

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to lead and coach apprentices in the vehicle mechanic field. The job involves supporting the security of the nation and the equipment used by the British Army.
The main responsibilities include overseeing fleet management, visiting learners at their workplaces, and delivering learning and coaching through vocational experience and knowledge.
A key aspect of the role is monitoring and reviewing learners' progress, ensuring all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the vehicle mechanic field and a strong understanding of work-based learning programmes.
In terms of qualifications, a relevant industry-related qualification in Vehicle Mechanics (minimum of Level 3) and GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualification are essential.
The salary for this role is £36,400 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a generous holiday allowance, matched contribution pension scheme with life assurance, and access to a Digital GP.
