CV-Library is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Automation / PLC / Machinery) to join their critical engineering maintenance team in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a seasoned Multi-skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining automation equipment, including Programme Logic Controllers (PLC), and ensuring the availability and performance of automation assets.
- You will perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, and provide effective support to the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Team Leads.
- Identify the root cause of automation breakdowns, prioritize corrective actions, and monitor equipment performance to improve automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 – or equivalent qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and experience of maintaining automation equipment.
Working Hours:
- 12 hour shifts, including two weeks earlies 7:00am - 7:00pm, and two weeks nights 7:00pm - 7:00am, with rest days.
- Flexible approach and ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
Benefits:
- £51,051 per annum, night shift allowance of £2,500 per annum.
- Weekend supplement for Saturday (£51 per attendance) and Sunday (£102 per attendance) shift attendance.
- Defined contribution pension scheme, 22.5 days (15 shifts) annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- Free parking.
