Marketing Associate Opportunity

NJR Recruitment is partnering with a leading firm of Pension specialists to find a talented Marketing Associate to join their team in a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Distribution to deliver the firm's marketing plans and develop a wide range of marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage a program of hosted events, from inception to follow-up, ensuring smooth execution and representing the firm.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Distribution to prepare various materials to support marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in technical and team functions to maintain up-to-date client and internal proposition forms and documentation.
  • Execute marketing campaigns via the website, Google ads, and social media channels.
  • Keep the website up-to-date, publish new content, and ensure SEO objectives are met.
  • Manage social media channels, scheduling and monitoring content, and tracking engagement activity.
  • Email marketing: primary user of the firm's HubSpot marketing email account, including template creation, data management, campaign setup, and response tracking.
  • Provide monthly reports to the Director of Marketing & Distribution.
  • Comply with Health & Safety Guidelines and demonstrate behaviors in line with Company Values PEER.
Requirements:
  • Ability to think creatively and generate new marketing campaigns.
  • Design experience desirable.
  • Preferably educated to degree level in business or marketing-related areas.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to research and understand the latest marketing trends and best practices.
  • Highly organized, with excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, hardworking, and team player.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and be flexible.
  • Sound working knowledge of various applications, including WordPress, HubSpot, SEO platform (Semrush), Canva, and Adobe packages.
  • Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and GDPR requirements.
  • Car owner/driving license essential.
  • Requirement for some UK travel, including occasional overnight hotel stays.

This role would suit a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience, ideally within the financial services sector.
