Overview

Vetisco is a RCVS accredited farm and small animal general practice with the latest facilities, including small animal and large animal ultrasound, bull and TUP fertility kit, digital radiography and IDEXX suite.

We are seeking an experienced mixed veterinary surgeon to join our team as Clinical Director, working alongside our current Clinical Director in practice.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 per annum, with a relocation allowance up to £8,000 and a welcome bonus up to £10,000. Job Description

Your main focus will be on small animal clinical work, operating and consulting on a daily basis. You will work alongside the current leadership team, assisting in leading a dynamic team, stepping into large animal work when required and out of hours. You will be a key contact in both clinical and non-clinical aspects of running the practice, helping to develop and lead the clinic's direction.

Rota Patterns

You will work up to 40 hours per week across 5 days, with the OOH rota currently 2:10 weekends, vets get a half day on the Friday following their weekend first on call.

Requirements and Qualifications

We require an experienced mixed veterinary surgeon with a bias in small animal caseloads looking to start their management career in veterinary.

Development and Support

We offer a comprehensive CPD package, including a £1,250 allowance and 40 hours paid CPD leave pro rata. You will also have access to certificate support, learning and development opportunities via the IVC Evidensia Academy and vetlexicon - our online encyclopaedia provider.
