We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team in Frome. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires the ability to work closely with children and young people who have been diagnosed with Special Education Needs (SEN) such as Autism or ADHD.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. You will need to be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with both staff and students.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with identified children and young people to encourage learning and challenge them to reach their full potential
  • Support teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality education and care
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized learning plans
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
