Event Coordinator

The Events Manager at Glenmere Mansion is responsible for planning and producing events on property such as weddings, corporate meetings and other private social events.
Key responsibilities include helping with the set-up and breakdown of all event space(s), menu planning with the kitchen, coordinating rental items, arranging entertainment and amenities, contacting service providers, creating and printing event menus and any other printed materials needed for an event, doing paperwork, greeting event participants and invitees, handling correspondence, assisting other departments and projects as assigned and being present as required at events at the discretion of the Director of Events.
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines are essential for this role.
A team player with the ability to create and maintain close working relationships within the team and with other employees and departments is required.
Maintain a professional demeanor and exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Ambitious, proactive, committed, motivated and passionate about our company and possess the ability to listen and a willingness to learn.
Flexible and willing to work outside normal business hours with limited overtime as needed and approved by Management, including nights and weekends.
