**Job Title:** Treasury and Taxation Professional

About Stanton House

We are a leading multinational corporation seeking an experienced Treasury and Taxation Professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's tax strategy, compliance, and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Management:
    • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's business goals.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal/National and local tax laws and regulations.
    • Prepare and review corporate tax, VAT and other tax returns in all five locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Advise the business on tax implications of transactions, projects, and investments.
  • Treasury Management:
    • Oversee the company's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management activities.
    • Manage banking relationships, negotiate terms, and optimise banking arrangements.
    • Develop and implement strategies for managing foreign exchange, interest rate/hedging, and other financial risks.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on tax and treasury activities to senior management.
    • Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in tax and/or treasury management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and other European tax laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing treasury functions, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and minimum intermediate Excel skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual Bonus: 10% discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits: Company sick pay (30 days full pay & 30 days half pay per annum), 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, 1 Paid volunteering day per year, 1 paid day off if you are moving house, Life insurance at 3 x annual salary from day 1, Admission to pension scheme following successful 3 month employment, Ongoing training in career building avenues, including study support.
