Cleaning Specialist

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Cleaning Specialist to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and consumables, as well as storage areas.
- Carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with agreed standards and ensure workload is prioritized and completed efficiently.
- Report any repairs noticed during cleaning duties to the relevant authorities.
- Respond promptly to any service shortfalls identified and take corrective action where necessary.
- Conduct daily maintenance on machinery, as trained, and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
- Perform additional or special cleans as instructed by senior staff members.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available in nominated cleaning stores and request replenishments as required.
- Attend training sessions as necessary to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Use chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner, escalating issues as required to ensure resolution.
- Work safely at all times, reporting any health and safety risks or hazards to the relevant authorities.
Person Specification:
- Prior experience in workplace cleaning would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate good time-keeping and a methodical approach to work.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Be able to read and speak English fluently, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
Benefits Package:
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and progression.
