Adult Community Care and Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Development Officer to join our award-winning Adult Social Care team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a vital role in leading the design, build, and roll-out of Power BI Dashboards and performance reports across multiple Adult Social Care Teams. They will provide expert advice, guidance, and training to colleagues across the directorate, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
This role will oversee the move towards automation of live reporting from Adult Social Care systems, utilizing established data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with experience in designing and delivering dimensional models, star schema, facts, and dimensions in an established data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver a suite of impactful and engaging Power BI reports that meet stakeholder requirements
- Implement the required ETL using established infrastructure (Azure Data Factory and SQL)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and service improvements
- Relevant qualifications, experience, or applied training in business analysis, project management, or system development
- Excellent IT programming skills using software such as SQL and Power BI (essential) and JavaScript (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to achieve strategic goals and service improvements with evidence of success in achieving targets and managing performance
