Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Theatre Practitioner - Multiskilled to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art 40-bed inpatient unit and day-case facility predominantly specialising in Orthopaedic Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care as a registered theatre practitioner
  • Support anaesthetists and surgeons during procedures
  • Contribute to the effective management of theatre time and resources
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and patients
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Registration with the NMC/HCPC
  • Previous scrub/Anaesthetics/Recovery experience (minimum 2 specialisms)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Demonstrated computer skills
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary range: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum
