Job Title: Aquatic Education Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Aquatic Education Specialist to join our team at Fusion Lifestyle. As an Aquatic Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality aquatic education programs to students of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Deliver aquatic education programs in line with the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme\
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers\
  • Ensure programs are delivered safely and effectively, in accordance with regulations and guidance\
  • Continuously improve our aquatic education program and service to students and customers\
  • Candidate should have an STA Award or Certificate or a Swim England Level 2 Qualification in Teaching Swimming\

  • Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)\

  • Requirements:\

    • STA Award or Certificate or a Swim England Level 2 Qualification in Teaching Swimming\
    • Experience of teaching a diverse customer base\
    • Natural ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers\
    • Ability to ensure programs are delivered safely and effectively, in accordance with regulations and guidance\
    • Passion for improving our aquatic education program and service to students and customers\
    • Degree in related field or equivalent\
    • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check\
    • Valid DBS certificate\
    • Customer Service skills\
    • Safeguarding knowledge and skills\
    • Aptitude to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently\
    • Up-to-date knowledge of aquatic education techniques and safety procedures\
    • Support of equality and diversity initiatives\
    • Flexibility and adaptability to change\
    • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills\
    • Possess a strong team player ethos\
    • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues, customers, and managers\
    • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills\
    • IT skills including MS Office software\
    • Educational achievements relevant to the industry\
    • Basic first aid training\
    • Valid First Aid certificate\
    • School leaver's Diploma or Certificates in Sports coaching or physical education, recreation, sport, PE, sports leadership, travel, tourism, hospitality, business administration\
    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Sport, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Coaching, Public Health, Leisure Management, Counselling, Community Development, Youth Studies\
    • Master's degree in higher studies, sports science, leisure studies, coaching, business administration\
    • Possess a Postgraduate qualification in marketing, human resources, management, business administration, event management, project management\
    • Individuals without formal qualifications can apply if they have substantial relevant working experience in Aquatic settings\
    • Should possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of aquatic operations\
    • Working Conditions:\

      This position is based in Witham. The successful applicant will be required to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You must be willing to work at various locations within Fusion Lifestyle sites
