Job Title: Host

At Raffles, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless service, and maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of menu offerings, systems, and informatics.
  • Follow correct reporting procedures to address any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to grooming standards, including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary and passing them on to the appropriate person.
  • Accompany guests to their tables and ensure their welfare.
  • Orient guests in the restaurant, responding to questions about the brand, concept, food, and artists.
  • Comply with restaurant security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Commit to sustainable practices, including waste management and purchasing.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hotel, leisure, or retail sector.
  • Good grooming standards and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous relevant experience as a Host or in a similar role.
