We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Postal Delivery Driver to join our team at Pertemps Gloucester.

About the Role:

This is a temporary but ongoing role, with immediate starts, working 5 to 6 shifts Monday to Saturday, with a 30-40 hour week contract. You will be responsible for delivering letters and parcels to customers across the UK, working as part of a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver letters and parcels to customers across the UK
  • Work as part of a team and independently
  • Sort mail for your route in the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Complete your round in the most economical route, using the hand-held computer as your routing system
Requirements:
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role would be ideal
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
  • No more than six penalty points for minor endorsements
  • Upbeat and self-motivated
  • Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.37ph Monday to Saturday and £14.49ph Sundays, free on-site parking, and paid breaks.
