Job Title: Part-time Finance Administrator

About Our Role:

We are seeking a skilled finance administrator to join our team in Godstone, South East England.

Job Description:

  • To perform financial tasks, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • To manage the Purchase ledger control system and review outstanding commitments.
  • To prepare banking sheets and conduct cash counting.
  • To maintain the fixed asset register and track assets.
  • To assist with month-end accounts and support the Director of Finance and Operations.
  • To complete monthly reconciliations and post transactions.
  • To run reports and reconciliations from SAGE.
  • To maintain accurate information and filing systems.
  • To be open to changes in departmental processes and systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role essential.
  • Not for Profit or Education Experience is advantageous.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Understanding of nominal, sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Sound interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving.
  • Attention to detail and solution focused.

What We Offer:

Salary: £23k-£23.5k per annum (pro-rata).

Hybrid Working: Flexible working arrangements available.

Part Time 28 hours: Suitable for those looking for a part-time role.

Temporary Position: Fixed-term contract.

Holiday: Annual leave entitlement.

Pension: Employer pension scheme.
