Speech and Language Therapist Position

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Rotherham. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and delivering therapy to students with communication barriers and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out thorough assessments to identify pupils' speech, language, and communication needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with SEN staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  3. Deliver one-to-one and small group support to help students improve their communication skills.
  4. Regularly review and adjust therapy plans based on students' progress and evolving needs.
  5. Collaborate closely with the SENDCO and other staff to ensure a cohesive support system.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide guidance and training on supporting communication development at home.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified in Speech and Language Therapy with a strong understanding of SEN principles.
  • Proven experience working with children in educational settings, preferably with complex needs.
  • Flexible and student-focused approach to promoting wellbeing and development.

The salary range for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are committed to finding the right candidate for this role.
