Job Title: Senior Airport Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Airport Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Airport Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering exciting opportunities to support on a wide range of international and UK-based airport projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake technical design work within an airport environment
  • Successfully coordinate and deliver design solutions on time and to budget
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design

Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer
  • Airfield and infrastructure design experience, including successful delivery of schemes from concept to detailed design
  • Knowledge of either Airport or Highways pavement design, materials specification, and maintenance with an appreciation of principles and application of UK and international pavement design methods
  • Experience in developing client relationships and work-winning activities
  • Ability to prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals

Additional Information:

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
