Psychology Graduate SEN Support Assistant

We are working with an excellent Secondary school in Tower Hamlets that is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Job Summary
- Full-time term-time only SEN Teaching Assistant role - Starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year
- Work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to learn and develop your skills
- Competitive salary of £420-£500 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a top 20 UK university
- Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable
Job Role and Responsibilities
This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting small groups of students and working on a one-to-one basis. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a calm and nurturing environment. Your tasks will include assisting in managing classroom behaviour, supporting students' learning, and ensuring the welfare of all students is safeguarded.
