Business Development Coordinator

Our client, a well-established business in the niche industry sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join their team as a Commercial Administrator.
Based in Westerham, this role offers a competitive salary of £25,500 to £30,500 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis Commercial Administrator position involves handling a variety of office procedures within a busy sales office. Key responsibilities include:
- Costings of quotes and orders for processing
- Liaison with the customer services team
- Processing sample requests
- New Business Development - progressing opportunities
- Researching new products, suppliers, and applications
- Contacting 'high growth' chemical companies in Asia Pacific
- Gathering market information and providing commercial assistance to Business Managers
- Assisting the Inside Sales team with email distribution and actioning enquiries
- Ordering technical literature
- Updating price lists and movements records
- Answering telephone calls and assisting with reception duties
- Maintaining meeting room availability and organising lunches for meetings
To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication skills and the ability to build long-lasting business relationships. High attention to detail and a methodical approach are also essential, as you will be working within a small but extremely busy team.
