Job Title: Cloud Architect Senior

About the Role:
This is a senior role within our team where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and securing cloud-based application platforms in AWS. You will work closely with our development teams to develop and support cloud-based applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing best practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, and Cloud-Init
* Developing and supporting cloud-based application platforms in AWS
* Ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based applications
* Collaborating with development teams to develop and support cloud-based applications

Requirements:
* Significant demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment
* Significant demonstrable experience of designing, implementing, securing, and supporting Unix/Linux based platforms (ideally RHEL/CentOS)
* Significant demonstrable experience of developing solutions using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go)
* Significant demonstrable knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (ideally Gitlab CI & Jenkins)
* Experience of working and leading in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, delivering products within specific time-scales and engaging with multiple stakeholders
