Technical Manager

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at our Droitwich Dairy.

About the Role

The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the Quality Agenda across the site, ensuring adherence to customer requirements, improving product quality, and driving out waste and inefficiency. This is a full-time, permanent contract position, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality management system to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to ensure effective implementation of quality policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Technical / Quality Manager experience in a similar FMCG role.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in a similar FMCG role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good technical knowledge of supermarkets food safety requirements and a working knowledge of their systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven skills in managing and developing a team.
  • Team building skills and strong ability to work cross-functionally.
  • HACCP Level 4, Food Safety Level 4.
