About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Sussex-wide team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to develop and implement individually tailored treatment plans.
  • Participate in research and service evaluation to improve the quality of care for children and young people with eating disorders.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

MBBS or equivalent qualification.On GMC Specialist register or able to achieve within 6 months.Excellent knowledge in specialty.Ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.Participation in research or service evaluation.
