Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Finning. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine and preventative maintenance servicing on heavy mobile plant equipment, ensuring optimal operational availability for customers.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out preventative maintenance servicing on heavy mobile plant equipment
- Ensure equipment is serviced in line with manufacturer's recommendations
- Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
To be successful in this role, you will need a basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics, and be able to work independently at customer locations. Experience in a related engineering function or a formal apprenticeship qualification with at least C&G level 1 is also desirable.
