Manifest Administrator Job Description

Pure Resourcing Solutions is working exclusively with a growing Logistics organisation who are seeking a skilled Manifest Administrator. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and be extremely well-organised, with excellent clerical skills and the ability to accurately input data from large quantities of paper files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Manifest Documentation: Ensure that manifest documentation is processed in line with system and customer requirements.
  • Update Vessel Schedules: Update vessel schedules within the business systems to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Customer Care: Contribute to customer care and key account management, responding to enquiries, requests, and calls to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Maintain Customer Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including the creation of new records in line with business processes and in conjunction with other departments.
  • File Management: Collate and file manifest files and folders in line with business requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside other departments as necessary to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Customer Communication: Answer customer calls and manage enquiries to a successful conclusion.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Highly Organised: Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft packages and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Logistics Industry Experience: Previous experience in the logistics industry is highly desirable.
  • Excel Skills: Proficient in Excel and able to create and manage spreadsheets.
  • Data Inputting: Accurately input data from paper files and maintain accurate records.
