Job Description

Servisource Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Team Leader - Children's Residential Home. Located in Telford, this role offers a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care and well-being of young people aged 10 to 25 with complex emotional, psychological, and developmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Train junior staff under supervision, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
  • Support young people with independent living skills, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with young people, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
  • Escort young people on trips and outings, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assist with meals and domestic duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Company policies, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Participate in training and development sessions, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • A willingness to undertake training, embracing ongoing learning and professional development.
  • A full UK driving licence or working towards gaining one, facilitating travel and transportation requirements.
  • A Diploma level 3 qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant fields.
  • Experience in children's residential care specifically with challenging behaviours, showcasing your ability to manage complex situations effectively.
