Job Overview

We are a leading provider of workforce solutions, partnering with Rolls-Royce to deliver high-quality temporary resources.

Rolls-Royce is a pioneering engineering company operating in various sectors, including energy, aerospace, marine, and defence. Our client seeks highly skilled Inspectors to join their team on a 12-month contract basis.

The selected candidates will be responsible for inspecting aerospace components using visual and dimensional techniques, ensuring compliance with technical instructions and customer requirements.

This role involves working with manufacturing engineers to address any non-conformities and delivering against weekly targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, and asset care.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect aerospace components using CMM machines and visual techniques.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to determine the right course of action to address any non-conformities.
  • Deliver against weekly targets to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • A recognised time-served apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, along with either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Clear understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, and asset care.
  • Strong awareness of H&S and inspection visual techniques.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
