Cloud Engineer Job Description

Candour Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement security best practices and monitor cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Support cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Databricks.
  • Automate deployment and management processes using Azure Bicep and Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies in the cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Understanding of network setup and configuration in Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender services.
  • Microsoft 365 and related services.
  • Microsoft certifications AZ-500, AZ-305, AZ-104, and AZ-400.
