About Our Role: Onshore Wind Project Director

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Onshore Wind Project Director to lead our renewable energy projects. As a senior-level expert, you will be responsible for managing complex onshore wind projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee comprehensive reviews of turbine technology, design, contracts, schedules, financial models, CAPEX/OPEX, environmental factors, and permitting.
  • Compile high-quality reports synthesizing technical and commercial analyses into cohesive documentation.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and events.
  • Lead project communications, status reporting, and regular team/stakeholder updates.
  • Identify and address project risks with innovative mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction and operational progress and prepare monthly monitoring reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Business, or Renewable Energy.
  • Project management certifications like PMP, Prince2, or Agile are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional project management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in facilitating, collaborating, negotiating, and presenting.
  • Proactive in risk management and problem-solving.
  • Adaptable under pressure, ambiguity, and frequent change.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and best practices.
